It has been a while since my last update. It took me quite some time, but most of the Half-Life 2 Mod Profiles has been fixed. Once I fixed the Half-Life 2 Profiles, I'll start with Half-Life Profiles as Half-Life 2 is more popular . All the current scripts also has been fixed, and I also noticed some problems within the links when I checked out all the Mod Profiles. I fixed the problems, and the links should work now. I will also remove mod profiles with dead websites and that has no client download links. No need to keep a Mod Profile of a completely dead profile without any client version released for it.
Further than that. I also added a new screenshot system on each profile so you can browse to the next screenshot with a single click. I also will add a new "Server Tool" section which will show information everything regarding server tools for both Half-Life and Half-Life 2 Servers.
Friday - May, 11 :: 2007
I just noticed that those who are using Internet Explorer 6 or the latest 7 version will have problems with the Mod Profile Center & Their Documents. You can view them just fine, It's just that some scripts doesn't work properly as it should. Even though these problems will hopefully be fixed in the future, I strongly recommend everyone to use either FireFox or Opera.

For those who wanted another look at the Half-Life 1 and Half-Life 2 Modification List Pages, I've made some changes. I believe this will satisfie most of you people. It may not be 100% just yet, due to I still have to do some minor changes to the page, but it has been mostly done.
Also, I've added a small filter on the Half-Life 1 Page, so you can view the modifications by Multiplayer and Cooperative. I'll adjust the same thing for the Half-Life 2 page pretty soon.

It took me quite some time, but all the current Half-Life 2 Mod Profiles have been converted with the latest enhancements! For those who are interested how it looks, you can head up to the Half-Life 2 Mod Profile Section to check it out! I have also got a few requests about having Movies and or Trailers within the document. That's why some of the bottom documents have a new "Movies / Trailers" menu tab. Where all the Movies / Trailers links goes.
I also wanted to let you guys know that it is best preferred for everyone to check the Profiles out with a screen resolution of 1024x768, because the screen shots fits best with that. And it is also possible a few links on the Half-Life 2 Mod Profile list gives an unknown document. I am already aware of that, and those links still has to be removed from the Profile List.
Also, I am also going to change the Profile Lists (of Both Half-Life 1 and Half-Life 2) so it looks much much better and I will also give a better overview. I hope you guys like the new enhancements. Is it also possible that some images has not been added just yet, or links are missing within the profiles. If this is the case, please do post it on the Mod Profile Center Forums. It took me quite some time to finish all the documents, so I could have forgotten to add some things.
Welcome everyone to the new and improved HL2Files Mod Profile Center!
At the moment, only the Half-Life 1 Mod Profiles has been enhanced, but not to worry. The Half-Life 2 Mod Profiles are sure to follow in the future. Curious what has been improved since the old versions?
• New menu under the banner. - (for a quicker way to get to their home page, forum and download pages)
• New Mod Profile Menu in the left of the page. - (only within the mod profile center and their profiles)
• New screenshot script. - (go ahead and try to click on any image at the bottom of a profile)
• All images / screenshots has been smallered to fit on the page when you view an image.
• Thumbs images are now 150x104
• All thumbs has been re-done - (without batching) so the thumbs will stay at excelent quality.
• All images has been moved to the modcenter's domain, for easier control.
• A new "overlay" has been added around every text in the profiles
You can go to the new Half-Life 1 Mod Profile section by either going to it through the menu just below the above banner, or you can click the following:
You are very welcome to leave comments in all the new profiles you are checking out, including this one. Also, It's highly recommended that these profiles are being checked by people using 1024x768 and above.

Im pretty much a noob here... (damn arent we many) OK so anyhow Im wanting to create a mod, ive pretty much studied almost all there is to know about creating a mod for hl2 source, and I have a rather decent core team, but im missing a programmer or coder, whichever you prefer to be called, how do I go about to find a coder that knows reasonably well how to code for hl2 source? if anyone would help, please send me info on how to get hold of such a person, my email is shea7993@gmail.com
