  Global Warfare :: A Half-Life 1 Modification

About the modification:
Global Warfare is a Team Based Multi-Player Half-Life Modification. That means if you have Sierra's Half-Life game then you can download and install Global Warfare and play it!

There are several ways to "win" in the game. The most basic way to win is to destroy the enemies' transport (usually a blackhawk helicopter or an APC) and then kill the remaining troops on the ground. The other ways to win depend on the particular map itself. Some mission objectives are to call in airstrikes, destroy buildings or radio relays or bridges, and others involve capturing/rescuing civilians or officials.

To put down the Arab Liberation Force's uprising the Arab Alliance has requested the help of the United Nations. Their combined forces fight under the UN flag but their mission is to bring back stability and return control of the middle east to the previous goverments. Some suspect the UN's role in this conflict is to merely bring the middle east to an economically favorable climate.

The declining economy and disintegration of the major Arab oil alliances has fueled the public's desire to fight against the current failing governments. Most of the public feel that the Arab Liberation Force will return the middle-eastern nations to their original world economic status and throw off the oppression of the old Arab Alliance.
