i know how to do this any way but im gonna download this now because its always good to reinforce your knowledge. i suggest other people do the same

I would really like to see a bridge like this in aztec. Maybe they'll(or anybody) will update it. I would, but my lack of skills and tools won't let me.

Hey, i really like ur tutorials and all was working fine till that ropebridge. I tryed to create that in CS but the visible rope wont stick with my Bridge. I followed all step by step, but the rope is always sticking wit the floor under the bridge and dont move if i push or shot the bridge away. another problem is that the rope is not on the same position i sticked it to. Is this cause i created that as cs map ???? plz help.

Shouldnt be. They both utilize the same engine.

I have been trying hanging light tutorials with ropes and am getting the same problem. I create the move_rope at the top and the keyframe_rope at the bottom. Place the prop and a phys_lengthconstraint. Change all the parent settings so it looks right(following tutorial note for note). Then when I run the map the rope is always sticking to a random spot on the floor. I have tried this three times now with the same result.

Not sure if you are having he same problem, but my bridge is fine, works great, but I cannot see the rope, I have tried numerous textures and widths, still no go.

yah im having the same problem, tried making a swing, it works .. just the ropes are going in a completley difrent direction. (this is in cs too)

it is cs, i just tryed my map in hl2dm and it worked frown

hmm guys im having the same problem for cs but i kno sort of wot it is, uno the erm ..... wen u make your own room you have a sorta middle pointer thing (u can only see it in the camera view) if u get me like a cross of some sort, well all the ropes e.t.c stick to that i have just moved my bridge because it seemed to be stickin to that and it was, i moved my bridge towards it so the corner of my bridge was on it and the rope stuck to it but wen i make other ropes they all go the same way :/

Hey is there a way you could have a button that flooded the map if you whated one in i have try and messed around with it... if theres a way can you help me with it i must be messing up or some thing....................... I also need help with making a elevator i cant realy get it when ppl write it.. it seems like there not explaining ever detail like u do... if you would plz help that would be great

i have the same problem....I've heard that theres a bug that doesnt allow it to work right. I't works fine for HL2DM and HL2SP
