Description:
This latest build fixes one definite crash bug, has decreased load times slightly. Most of the CS:S weapons are in there by default. Weapon selection menu has been redone since it was getting cramped with the adding of the new weapons. This version also adds NPC death notifications. When a player kills an NPC it will show in the top right hand corner just like when a player gets killed. As mentioned above the spawn menu has gone though some major changes. One cool change is that it now stretches vertically with your screen resolution. This should help people with more than 3 mini mods installed - you’ll have plenty of room now.

Posts: 34 | what do you think? it adds counter strike source guns to gmod... great job garry! i have one problem though. everytime i goto a new map for example: my spawn menu has all the icons from the one i had on before switching. i think its because the spawn menu resets on a new round. and i've seen a few more people with this problem. but with or without. its still the best mod in existance. |

Posts: 192 | you know what's lame? people like the lama trader... its just, if you dont like it you dont really need to post about how much you hate this, these comments are for the file... dynamic substance? this isnt a full single player mod with a plot and story... also if you dont like garrys mod then you must not like hl2 substance because not much was done with the plot.
For the "other mods" there are mods in production but there is so much more work to do when you are scripting, mapping, modding, and most are great sounding, but take so long for them to be produced, not saying that making gmod was easy, but probably is easier than making a whole sp or mp mod. |

Posts: 3 | For the Steam Validation problems, log out of Steam, go into your Program Files, Valve, Then in the main Steam folder there should be an icon titled ClientRegistry.blob, delete the file (don't worry nothing bad will happen), then restart Steam. Steam will do a tiny update and you will be ready to play. |

1. When I start a new Single Player map I have access to all CS weapons, but when i save it, then load it, the CS weapons tab is gone. Wth is up with that.
2. The most annoying thing, The ground becomes non existant to anything without life. Like if i kill something or spawn a ragdoll model of someone, they just sink under the floor , ive re-installed, downloaded a new installer and installed, but nothing fixes it.
And just recently a whole new prob came up, when i spawn a strider its invisible, and dosnt attack.

Posts: 81 | If you get this DO NOT JOIN SERVERS I have recieved multiple viruses from them as it automatically downloads lua scripts off of the server.
One of these is System32.lua
This damages system files, had i not have quickly ended the hl2.exe process i would of had to go through many folders deleting the many segments of the virus.
I also recently got racehook6 which damages system files. Also, i got a worm called InterWorm.
Really, if your gona get GMOD9 dont join servers. But i highly recommend that you just get GMOD10 or something. |

"The steam servers are to busy at the moment. I've had this problem before, and it worked the next day. You could log off steam, but still be on in offline mode and try it then. "
So give it a day and try again. Also this may help. Go into your Steam folder and delete a file called "steamclient.blob" (Obviously have Steam closed before you do this) and then reload Steam. This will make Steam create a fresh blob file and at the same time update everything on Steam (not the games that is)...
Lastly I suggest you load HL2, CSS and DOD (if you own it) and then just close them. This will allow Gmod to gather the content it uses. Oh and if none of that works you could always go into properties of Gmod and verify the content...

Posts: 14 | i have never gotted any error with this mod but since i used vista, i can't play it any more. the problem with create server is that theres some errors with the new source engine and the old G'mod! make a shortcut at the desktop and open the options by right click on it and then thoose the last option, and find a line with the "applounch 220" and edit the numbers to 125 it should work! It did last time for me. |

Posts: 9 | to get this gmod to work with only hl2 and hl2:dm you need to delete the counter strike folder in the mods folder.
This folder is located in (Crogram filessteamSteamAppsSourceModsgmod9mods) when your in that folder just delete counter-strike (for an odd reason the folder says "counter-stike" on my comp lol) and it should work.
the only down side is, you cant join servers, unless the server has the counter-strike file deleted to, (that would be rare) |

Posts: 10 | if there's gonna be a new Gmod (and there probably is gonna be one) it should have l4d supported. Can you use Gmod (use as in use items/people/weapons) form a game thats NOT on your steam account? |

I put it in folder where im suppose to /Comp/programfiles,steam,steamapps,davejensen,sourcemods...
And it shows up in steam it just says..

NO steam content servers are available

This means that ONLY Gmod 10 users can use Multiplayer. In other words You want
Online play Get GMOD10.that is all. |

Posts: 2 | Go in the gmod9 folder and click gameinfo and scroll down to SteamAppId and change 220 to 215. If you are too lazy to do that then wait for me to release the update. P.S. I have gmod 10 I just like gmod 9 a bit. |

Posts: 18 | I don't find it fun anymore because of the reason its based on hl2s engine and not any other game out there and whats worse is that its attracting all the great modders and every other game is losing the modding love which is quite a shame really, there was this particular character I wanted for a certain game but none of the modders wanted to make it and then I find out its been made for gmod but I wanted it for a different game not gmod which means modders are more likely to release the cool stuff for gmod then any ofter games and it gets me angry. |
