Half-Life 2 Fakefacktory's High-Resolution Skinpack (v 1.02) - File Description  


Description:
Finally the next version! The 1.02 update includes updated faces for the characters Alyx, Barney, G-Man, and Father Grigori, as well as adding new "faces" to the Combine Soldiers. To run this version, you must have the original 1.01 version of the Hi-Res skinpack.

On to the skins themselves! Alyx is looking better, with less make-up as some will be glad to hear. The Barney skin looks a little weird around the eyes, but he's looking younger now and more like someone in their 20's-30's, instead of 40's-50's. The Combine soldiers look good as well, especially the Super Combine Soldier.

The pack updates the Textures of the following characters:

Alyx
Barney
G-Man
Father Grigori
Combine Soldiers




Requirements:
-------------

- Well... Half-Life2 installed
- FAKEFACTORY's High-Resolution Skins Pack 1.01
- A graphics-card, that can handle 2048 x 2048 pixel textures (any DirectX9 card should be okay).
- plenty of RAM (you will see some ingame-stuttering with less than 1 GB ram)




Installation:
-------------

Copy the materials folders to your <path to SteamApps>/<username>/Half-life 2/hl2/ folder. If you want to return to the low-resolution textures, remove them. You can copy them to your <path to SteamApps>/<username>/SourceMods/garrysmod folder, so you can enjoy the new skins in Garry's MOD.
