That's right!

The Goldeneye: Source mod development team have released beta 1 of their long awaited Half-life 2 modification!

This is the EXE Client File.

Hello Goldeneye source fans, we would like to start of by thanking all of our supporters, mirrors, seeders for making this mod a success.
We have been receiving reports of bug crashes in the beta and dont you worry because we are hard at work releasing a patch to come in the near future to make the game even more stable. Even though we say this there is NO set date for this release yet, so please do not ask. We will let you know when its ready.

In the mean time here are some fixes you can do to help stabilize the game provided by people from the community.
-Check for and download latest video card drivers
-A server with 10 people seems to work better
-Have the Base SDK installed
-Download the mod again on another mirror and reinstall the mod.

Please note these are just suggestions from the community and may not work for your configuration but its worth a shot if you are having problems.

We would like to remind you that this list of mirrors is always updating and we hope that you enjoy the new beta of the mod.

i used to play Goldeneye against my 2 brothers in the split screen multiplayer... and id usually win with remote mines smile
i personally liked how there were random secret spots around the multiplayer levels, and they had guns in them aswell which some were otherwise unreachable smile

and the capture the flag was fun, if only you could link up two 64's together to play 8players, then it would of been the best game for a long time

How can a game which uses low poly models and low resolution textures consume 181mb??? Im not downloading for now because i dont have enough space...

But i dont understand? it should be like 40mb.....

Does it have a singleplayer portion?
