CS: Source dD's New Weapon Muzzle Flashes (v2) - File Description

Description:
Here we've got a small pack that changes the muzzle flashes on all the weapons in CS: Source. With this, you get two distinct "flavors", Action, and Realistic Muzzle flashes. Obviously, the Realistic flashes are more realistic, and so are smaller, less bright, and more contained. The Action flashes are bright, big, and bold, as some of you surely want your firefights to be. If you're looking for a nice little replacement for your muzzle flashes, you may have found your mod.

Note: Using Custom Weapon Models can throw off the muzzle flashes, especially if they're set to a different point on the screen, say, being more centered. Or, your weapon could simply just be so big/small that the muzzle isn't even in the right spot. stick out tongue

The author also states that the flashes were designed with the 1st Person look as the highest priority, and it may not always match up correctly in the 3rd Person.

	Readme File: Created: dDefinder E-mail: jm21488@yahoo.com (Don't hurt me) New Weapon Muzzle Flashes v2 -stuff Comes with 2 diffent types of muzzle flashes. Realistic and Action. -note- If you are using custom weapon modules the effects of the muzzles flashes may alter. Bigger, smaller, or off center flashes. this only accure with first person weapon modules. -To install Pick either to move the files in realistic or action folder (but not both) into ...\Steam\SteamApps\[YourUsername]\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\effects Replace if needed. -Side Note- I've made two muzzleflashesX for Action. if you dont like the frist one delete muzzleflashX and look for muzzleflashX-2 and rename that one to muzzleflashX. -To uninstall Just delete the effects folder. If you have other things in there that u dont want to remove. delete the following things in effects folder: muzzleflash1, muzzleflash2, muzzleflash3, muzzleflash4, muzzleflashX. - must have author's name.

lovely flashes, really have the realistic ones

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Pretty much all the guns are fine, it's just the aug and the m4a1 muzzle flash looks a little cartoony.

Or maybe it's just me.

I like that "X" pattern on the "Action" AK-47. It looks really nice.

I'ts Nice but u shouldt work on the grenade effects instead Rock

alot better than i thought... those stupid orange colored ones are noticeably less realistic now that ive played with this
